This delightful self catering holiday cottage in beautiful Mid Wales has been refurbished to a very high standard and is well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout.

There are two bedrooms upstairs. One has a very comfortable king size bed about which guests have been known to complain saying they have great difficulty getting out of it in the morning. The other has two comfortable single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, a dressing table, chair and two bedside chests of drawers. An extra fold-up bed is available if required.

The downstairs accommodation consists of a large open plan living / dining room / kitchen, plus bathroom with large walk-in shower, entrance hall and lobby for storage of cycles, fishing tackle and outdoor clothing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, health-grill, slow cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer - ideal if you wish to be fully self catering. There is an automatic washing machine in the spacious bathroom and an iron and ironing board are also provided. Flat-screen TV, Video and DVD facilities are provided in the living room, along with a good quality CD/cassette player and radio. A wide selection of videos and dvds is available. Those of you who wish to read in the evenings will find the variety of lighting options very useful.

The whole cottage is fully centrally heated and double-glazed. A high chair and travel-cot are available if required. There are impressive views of the beautiful Irfon Valley in this little known part of Mid Wales from both the upstairs and downstairs rooms.

Outside

There is ample parking space outside the holiday cottage, a private seating area and access to the gardens to the front and side of the main house with magnificent views of the upper Irfon Valley. A small portable barbecue is provided for your use. Numerous bird feeders are regularly replenished so that you can enjoy the huge variety of birds in the garden. If you're not interested in birds when you come to this part of Mid Wales, you will be by the time you leave.

The setting is quiet and secluded yet within easy reach of the town's amenities which include several restaurants, pubs and shops.

Access Statement – Kilsby Cottage

Kilsby Cottage has level parking and there are no steps into the cottage at either entrance. There are two internal steps on the ground floor, one leading from the bathroom and living room into the hallway and one from the entrance lobby into the hallway. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a large walk-in shower with hand-rail and removable seat. Both bedrooms are on the first floor. The stairs have one hand rail. Information is in large bold type.
